On Saturday December 1st, 2007 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm, the Rotaract Club of Downtown San Diego will hold its Sixth Annual Jazz For Juvenile Diabetes event in Downtown San Diego. Jazz For Juvenile Diabetes 2007 is a jazz concert (and great party) featuring a live performance by San Diego favorite The Elliott Lawrence Trio. This year the event will be hosted at the MINUS 1 Lounge in The Keating Hotel, one of San Diego’s newest and coolest hotels. Eat, drink and dance to some great music – and all for a worthy cause!
Each year, Jazz For Juvenile Diabetes benefits the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation San Diego. The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) is the leading charitable funder and advocate of type 1 (juvenile) diabetes research worldwide. The mission of JDRF is to find a cure for diabetes and its complications through the support of research. The San Diego Chapter of JDRF serves all of San Diego County and extends north to Orange County. The Chapter provides valuable information about juvenile diabetes to people with diabetes, their families, and the general public, as well as raising much-needed funds for diabetes research.
Take part and help raise funds for this great organization by purchasing your tickets today. Ticket prices are $35 per person the week of the event. Save $10 on your ticket price when you purchase your ticket prior to Saturday November 24, where tickets are only $25 per person, so make sure to buy yours early. Need even more excitement in your Saturday night? Raffle tickets are $5 (5 for $20) where you can win dinners as fabulous restaurants, accommodations in hotels, tickets to events and awesome gift baskets to name a few. Both can be purchased using the form below using your major credit card or bank account. Tickets will be held for you at the door, so you don't need to worry about shipping. Tickets may also be purchased at the door the night of the event, but there is a possibility that it will sell out.
